Framer/Deframer Cores

General Description

Aliathon's E2/DS2 Framer and Deframer cores can be used for single-channel applications or multi-channel applications (processing multiple DS2s or E2s carried over E3/DS3). Typical E3/DS3 channelised applications are:

Terminal Multiplexers with E1/T1 interfaces

Digital Cross Connect applications with E1/T1 interfaces

Add Drop Multiplexers
DS3/T3 PCI card containing Aliathon's DS3/T3 Cores
PCI Card containing E2/T2 Aliathon's Deframer Core
