Snr. FPGA Design Engineer
Role Description:
- Qualified to degree level in Engineering or equivalent discipline.
- 3+ years of VHDL design experience.
- Ability to define FPGA architectures from a technical specification.
- Familiar with FPGA tool set flow from code entry to timing analysis.
- Knowledge of Mentor tools in this area would be advantageous.
- Experience of source/revision control techniques.
- Experience of implementing and verifying FPGA designs at board level would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of Telecoms Framing structures (Sonet/SDH/ PDH) would be an advantage.
- As would knowledge of packet (Ethernet) structures.
- A self starter, able to work and deliver quality of results with minimal supervision.
- Able to respond successfully to tight deadlines.
