Aliathon Expands their OTN Offering to include OTU2 & OTU3 and looks ahead to OTU4.

Aliathon Ltd,  a leading and established provider of OTN and SONET/SDH FPGA based solutions today announces the expansion of our Optical Transport Network offering.

Following on from our Framing/mapping & interface solutions at 1Gb and 2.5Gb rates (OTU1), our Framer & mapper technology has now been expanded to operate at the OTU2 & OTU3  lines rates and includes support for CBR & GFP framing techniques.  Applications include 10G/40G OTN transponder, muxsponder, repeater and ADM.

Our OTU2 & OTU3 datapath solutions are already being used in-field today, while OTU4 is in development and being evaluated by existing customers.
